The Kitsap County Medical Society Alliance & Foundation provide annual scholarships to Harrison Medical Center employees and Olympic College students pursuing education in the field of nursing. Five $500 scholarships are awarded annually to Harrison Medical Center employees that are pursuing furthering their education in the field of nursing or nursing administration. The deadline for application review is August 25, 2011. A selection process
by the KCMSA & KCMSF occurs late August and recipients will be notified
by phone. The recipients are invited to the KCMS Fall dinner meeting "Fire
& Ice to receive their certificate and check on stage. This year Fire
and Ice will be held at the Kitsap County fairgrounds Pavilion on Saturday
October 15, 2011.
