The Kitsap County Medical Society Alliance & Foundation provide annual scholarships to Harrison Medical Center employees and Olympic College students pursuing education in the field of nursing. Four $1,000.00 scholarships are awarded annually to Harrison Medical Center employees that are pursuing furthering their education in the field of nursing or nursing administration. In addition two CME nursing education scholarships are awarded in the amount of $500 each Two $500 scholarships are awarded to Olympic College Students currently enrolled in the nursing program at Olympic College. The deadline for application review is August 25, 2009. A selection process by the KCMSA & KCMSF occurs late August and recipients will be notified and later awarded at the KCMS Fall dinner meeting "Fire & IceÓ on Saturday October 17th at Kiana Lodge.
